Akop Kagramanyan is a Principle Banker with the EBRD’s Natural Resources Team based in Almaty. Before joining EBRD in 2019, Akop was a Managing Director with ATON, a Moscow-based investment firm, where he advised Russian and foreign mining companies in relation to debt and equity financing. Prior to that, Akop was the CFO and Head of Strategic Development at UGC, one of the largest gold producers in Russia. He also spent 6 years with the Corporate Finance team at ING Bank in Moscow and London.
Akop has a Master’s Degree from London Business School and a Candidate of Science Degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
