Speaker registration process

Acceptance of applications

To propose a presentation at the forum speaker (or assistant) is expected to complete the 11st of March 2024.

Applications are considered by the program committee of the forum. The decision is made within 5 working days after receipt of the application. When considering applications, numerous factors are taken into account, including relevance, informativeness, etc

Speaker registration

Speakers presenting on behalf of commercial organisations and wishing to attend the Forum in person are expected to register and pay the admission fee.

Speakers representing exhibitors, sponsors, and partners, as well as speakers who have received a guest pass from the Forum secretariat, are exempt from paying the fee but are still required to complete the speaker application.

Requirements for presentations

The forum is organised in Kazakh, English and Russian languages. Presenters may use either one or both languages (dividing slides into two parts) when preparing presentation materials. Presentation slides are accepted in PowerPoint (PPTX or PPT) for 16:9 wide-screen format.

In cases where presenters are unable to attend the event in person, they may pre-record their presentation on YouTube or Vimeo and send the video file link to slides@minexforum.com

Payment

Payments in foreign currency are accepted by Advantix Ltd (UK) via bank transfer or credit card. Participants who did not register in advance can register and pay on the day by credit card, by completing the registration form on the conference website (payments will be processed through Stripe and collected by Advantix Ltd.).

Cancellations and replacements

In case of cancellation up to 14 business days before the event, the paid registration fee will be refunded minus 10% to cover administrative costs. In case of cancellation of participation less than 14 business days before the start of the event, the registration fee is not refundable. Presenters can be replaced at any time at no additional cost. All cancellations must be submitted to secretariat@minexforum.com.
