Innovative radar technologies as the basis for the digitalization of bulk material handling in Industry 4.0

The report discusses innovative developments of indurad GmbH (Germany) within the framework of digitalization of technological processes in the mining industry all the way from the pit to the port. The application of integrated radar solutions for building digital twins of ore stockpiles, blending yards and concentrate warehouses is shown. Report describes the control of residues and material behaviour in silos, bunkers and other buffer zones with high dusting. Show are examples of advanced automation of high capacity stackers and reclaimers with online modeling of their operation. Recent developments in anti-collision and robotic haulage systems are demonstrated.
