Untapped Opportunities: Metallogenic Belts of Emerging Asia

Emerging Asia constitutes 16% of the explorable land surface of the world. It comprises four tectonic domains, and includes all geological ages and tectonic settings and significant portions of the world's main deposits of Cu-Au, Au-Ag, Pb-Zn, Ni-Cr-PGE and REE. This 30-minute presentation will provide an overview of the tectonic domains, magmatic belts, and suture zones that control significant undiscovered metal resources from Turkey, through Central Asia, to Southeast Asia.
