Geoscan Group of Companies is a Russian hi-tech company that carries out a full cycle of research and production activities in the field of radio electronics, instrument making, and aerial photography. Since 2011, Geoscan has been designing and producing aircraft-type and multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and developing software for photogrammetric data processing.
The company's products are used in cadastre, agriculture, electricity and heat, urban planning and industry. In addition to the sale and rental of UAVs, the company provides comprehensive high-tech services in the field of aerial photography and laser scanning, airborne magnetometric and gamma spectrometric surveys, 3D modeling and the creation of geoportals. Projects using UAVs of the Geoscan Group of Companies have been implemented in Russia and other countries, including Mexico, Burkina Faso and Kazakhstan.
Geoscan is actively developing the educational direction, popularizing the use of UAVs as part of the educational process. Devices from the “Pioneer” series, which includes three complexes, teach children piloting, programming and design skills.
Also, based on the developed technology, Geoscan organizes drone light shows. On September 3, 2020, the company broke the world record for the number of drones launched simultaneously into the air.
